Check-in: How late can I check in?
Your room will be available from 3 pm.
Do you wish to arrive earlier?
→ Book your early check-in: contact the front desk and, depending on the availability of the room, we will inform you about the time and cost of the service. We can tell you in advance that early check-in in a Classic or Superior room starting at 12 noon costs 10€.
→ Alternatively, drop by and leave us your luggage and check-in information: we will be happy to keep your bags with us while you enjoy lunch, or a walk. When you return, you will already find them in your room.

Of course, it is possible to check in independently after 9 p.m., thanks to the digital check-in.

Notify the front desk that you will be arriving after 9 p.m.: you will have all the information you need to enter the hotel and reach your room via WhatsApp.

We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:30 am.
We make ourselves available to store your luggage free of charge, in case you want to take a few more hours for one last tour.
If, on the other hand, you wish to extend your stay in your room at the Palazzo, for a small additional fee you can leave at a leisurely pace (subject to room availability):

Rooms
Being a historic mansion, the rooms of Palazzo Novello are different from each other: each one is unique in its own way. We invite you to visit the "Rooms" section of our website to discover them all.
Each bathroom is equipped with a shower, with the exception of the Regina Suite&Spa which, in addition to a large shower, features a hot tub.
Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator and that the rooms are arranged on three floors. If you have trouble going up the stairs, please let us know: we will evaluate together which room is right for you.

Room cleaning service
Keeping the Palazzo clean is of paramount importance to us.
We have been using ozone for years for the final disinfection, and we pay close attention to the cleansing of all the rooms, including each individual accommodation.
We use disinfectant products that comply with current standards, along with specific procedures for improved hygiene.

SPA
Palazzo Novello does not have a spa, but in the Suites and in the Junior Suite you can use the Hydrosoft infrared cabin. Also, by requesting a few days in advance, you can take advantage of the massage service, performed in a specific space in the hotel.
If you want to fully dedicate a day to relaxation, we recommend Aquaria in Sirmione: a real gem in our area. Ask for information at reception.

Hydrosoft cabin: what it is and how it works
Our Suites and Junior Suite feature the Hydrosoft cabin.
It gives you the benefits of both the Finnish sauna (sweating) and the
Turkish bath (for the skin and respiratory system). In addition, Hydrosoft fully respects the nature of your body, immersing you in a pleasant tropical climate, given by gentle heat below 40°C and soft steam.
You can stay in the cabin for as long as you wish, without the dangerous contraindications caused by the high temperatures of the classic sauna and Turkish bath.

It is always the right time for a Hydrosoft session, especially before breakfast to replenish your energy, before bedtime for a deeper sleep, even before or after meals. There are no restrictions to Hydrosoft sessions, you can even use the cabin twice a day for a purifying detoxification.
Press the power button, wait 15 minutes before going in and drink herbal tea or a glass of non-cold water. After about 10 minutes in, you will already start sweating in a pleasant and natural way. Once you start sweating, we recommend a minimum stay of at least 15 minutes to get the full benefits:

Parking
We have an outdoor parking lot within our premises. It is accessible through our large front door, which is closed every night.
Access to upper floors
Palazzo Novello has three floors (first floor, second floor and third floor). Being a historic building, there are no elevators, as the rooms can only be reached by stairs. If you have preferences on the floor, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Pet Friendly
We are very happy to accommodate all of your four-legged friends, with a surcharge of 10€ per dog per night.
For stays of several nights, the additional fee will be reduced.
We ask you to inform us of their presence, so that we can arrange the room accordingly to make their stay more pleasant and cleaning more effective.

The tourist tax is €1 per person per night. It applies from the age of 16.

Do you travel for work? Do you often sleep away from home? Palazzo Novello is the ideal place to find rest after a busy day. We are willing to provide reserved rates, subject to a minimum number of rooms booked.
Is it possible to rent the entire Palazzo?
Yes, it is possible. The price varies depending on the season, the number of rooms, the common spaces used and the event you wish to host.

Do you host weddings, meetings and events?
All these types of events can be planned, created and brought to life at the Palazzo. The maximum capacity is 40 people. Visit the events section of the website and contact us via the inquiry form: we will take care of your event!
How to get here
By car - Montichiari can be easily reached by car via the A4 or A21 freeway.
→ A4: take the Brescia Est exit if you are coming from the direction of Milan and continue to Montichiari.
Take the Desenzano del Garda exit if you are coming from the direction of Venice, continue to Montichiari.
→ A21: take the Manerbio exit and continue to Montichiari.
By plane - Montichiari is about a 45-minute drive from the major airports in northern Italy: it is 50 km away from the Verona airport, 74 km away from the Bergamo airport, 7.5 km away from the Brescia-Montichiari airport
By train - The nearest stations are Brescia (25 km) and Desenzano (16 km).
We recommend taking a cab from the station.
However, we always recommend to get here by car (renting it directly at the airport or near the train stations), as the surrounding area can be better explored on four wheels.
