Palazzo Novello is a small historic palace of great impact, where hospitality is an art. It is an hotel with a particular charm, that combines comforts and benefits of an hotel with the privacy of a private home. It is a fascinating historical setting that will give the right importance to your company, your guests and yourself.
Every corner tells the story of what made this abode the fascinating hotel it is nowadays: antique frescoes and floors are mixed with more contemporary elements to become the ideal backdrop for your holidays, meetings and events.
Who will welcome you at Palazzo Novello?
I like to travel with my guests.
I don’t hide in their luggage nor follow them: let’s just say I try to put myself in their shoes. I try to understand what type of experience they are seeking, what they like, to be able to carve together a tailor-made stay, even if that just means giving them advice for the best place for their dinner. I share. This is it.
I share how I felt about the places surrounding us, my gastronomic and cultural experiences. And each time I like to see if everything works well, so that the next time my advice will be better!

When I was a child the globe fell on my head... I would have never thought that was a prophetic sign... But here I am!
Every day I welcome people coming from all over the World... but no more hits, just smiles!
Sweet smiles, meaning “I will take care of you”, because to me hospitality means caring for and paying attention to my guests; I believe the small gestures and the simple things are what makes the greatest difference.
For this reason, since I came to Palazzo I have started baking cakes for breakfast and some surprise sweets I sometimes leave on bed-side tables to wish “sweet dreams” to our guests.
As you will see I am also an advocate of the positive thinking, and for this reason in every room you will find the Happiness Jar: it is another sign of the beautiful atmosphere you will breathe at Palazzo. It is hard to explain it, only those who have been here can really understand what I mean.
In keeping with this, I’d like to give you a present: the video-recipe of my Tiramisù. The video is in Italian, but I still hope you’ll like it and will make you smile!
When you will find a welcome message in your room, the take-away breakfast when you are leaving early, or you see cards with a beautiful graphic (and here we stop, but just not to be too wordy), it’s thanks to Chiara, receptionist with an endearing always-on smile.
The smell of freshness and cleanliness when you open the door, the bed well with crisp sheets, are all down to Anna, our resourceful governess.
And when you come for breakfast around 9 o’clock in the morning and you hear loud laughter coming from the kitchen… it is the all of us!
