Museo Bergomi in Montichiari presents a collection of ethnographic finds coming from the Po Valley and the other three valleys of Brescia: Val Trompia, Val Sabbia and Val Camonica. The finds belonged to the private collection of painter Giacomo Bergomi (1923-2003), who donated them to the municipality in 1990.

The selection includes more than six thousand pieces, and without doubt is the most important of the whole province of Brescia, providing a crucial testament to the rural life in the territory. There you will find presentations of the traditional rural cycles, intertwined with the life of the inhabitants. A second section of the museum will then show you the techniques adopted by the master artisans of the time to craft metal and wood.
