In the beautiful Castle of Brescia, from 10 to 17 February 2018, a magical event will take place, suspended between art, history, light and music: it is CidneON, the International Festival of Lights.
This event guides us on an evocative journey, made of video projections, light installations and musical shows, showing us a historical place, such as the Castle, in a completely new and exciting way.
It will leave you speechless!
This year the theme is the relationship between natural space and man-made space, connecting to the history and “natural architecture” of Colle Cideo where, in fact, the Castle stands, combined with fantasy.
ROUTE AND TIMES
CidneON is based on a path consisting of 15 installations and light art projections, which lasts about an hour and is accessible every day for free, from 18.30 to 24.00, with last admission at 22.30.
Furthermore, in the Piazzale del Castello there will be an area dedicated to food.
On the days of the event, you can access the Castle with:
free shuttle buses made available by Brescia Mobilità from 17.30 to 01.00 – departing from Piazzale Arnaldo and Via S. Faustino
with the train in Piazza Paolo VI, from 17 to 22 every half hour,
on foot in the path from Piazzetta Tito Speri, illuminated for the occasion.
with the Metro: on 10-11-14-16-17 February the timetable will be extended until 1 am!
There is a strong turnout, so access with strollers and animals is not recommended, even if on a leash.
And we reveal a trick:
if you buy the Magic Key (€ 8.00) you will have the opportunity to skip the line and access via the Fast Lanes, thus saving time for visiting the castle. Just choose the date and time of entry!
